Third Prize for Zhangzhou Vocational College Teacher at "China Beauty Artisan Cup" – Supported by Zhangpu Cailuhua
At the final of the 2024 National Light Industry Vocational Skills Competition – the "China Beauty Artisan Cup" National Cosmetics Vocational Skills Competition, which was grandly held in Huadu District, Guangzhou from December 17 to 20, 2024, Li Yang, a teacher from Zhangzhou Vocational and Technical College, successfully won the third prize. As the first national top-tier event in the cosmetics industry, this competition opened its registration channel in August and quickly attracted enthusiastic participation from 32 colleges and universities as well as over 150 enterprises across 20 provinces and cities nationwide, with a total of more than 3,200 applicants, reflecting its immense popularity. The employee category of the competition was strictly designed in accordance with the Level 2 (Technical) requirements of the National Vocational Skill Standard for Cosmetic Formulators. Within the intense 90-minute timeframe, contestants were required to rely on their professional capabilities to carefully prepare 300 grams of skin care lotion with a viscosity ranging from 8 to 25 Pa·s, using materials provided by the competition (including mandatory and optional categories) as well as self-prepared raw materials. This process comprehensively assessed the contestants' overall capabilities in multiple aspects such as raw material selection, formula design, process control, innovation and development, product evaluation, experimental documentation, and data processing. With solid professional foundations and excellent on-site performance, Teacher Li Yang responded steadily throughout the competition and ultimately earned the honor.
